Things to NOT buy on Amazon...
I spent my money so you can save yours. Yes, most of these items I did end up returning but still, it was a waste of time!
So welcome to my new series where I will share my fails that I got on Amazon and hopefully save you from the troubles too. And no, I'm not here to just out right market against these products etc,. Most of these purchases were made becuase I saw a tik tok or some social media post hyping them up to what, I found out to be, they weren't. SOOO, this is to help against the click bait and the "you have to have this!!!!" culture. Because, you don't need it! Live simply and just treat yourself.
First up in this new series is a product I saw off of tik tok. Back story - I have a GMC Acadia SUV and i LOVE it. But, the only thing i don't like about it is the small cup holders. I can only use a select few of the (many) mugs we have in our cabinet, my coozies wont fit and it. drives. me. nuts.!! Okay, not the cars fault, but I also dont have anywhere to mount my phone when I'm driving.
Now you know why I was a sucker for this product.
Now you know why I was a sucker for this product. It looks like the perfect size and soultions to about 5/99 problems. And it wasn't a total fail - i guess.....but it was bulky. My phone didn't fit in the mount, it just laid there and held on by the grace of God. my phone laid at a weird angle to where I wouldn't even be able to see the directions if i needed them. I will say, it fit snug! Like i was sweating trying to get this thing out of my cup holder. It was not going anywhere! But, that was also a downfall because I didnt always want it in my cup holder so i had to prepare for an entire cardio sesh to even be able to remove it.
Ultimately, it is a great concept and think it could work. But this one specifically, did not. Save your $26.99 to use on a mug that will just fit in your cup holder. (:
